Utah Family Photographer | DeGraff Military Graveside Service My father fought in World War II and I was raised with a deep respect for Veterans and the sacrifices they made for our country. He even taught me the words to Taps. Did you know that Taps had words? I can't help but tear up when I hear Taps. I will always think of my dad! Here they are just in case you were wondering.
Day is done, Gone the sun, From the lake, From the hill, From the sky. All is well, Safely rest, God is nigh.
I first met the DeGraff family two years ago when I took their extended family photos at Memory Grove. I instantly fell in love with them! They are so close to each other even though they all lived in different parts of the country.
I was saddened to hear that the patriarch of the family passed away in January from complications of Covid-19. I was honored to be asked to take some photographs of the Graveside Service which was held at the Camp Williams Memorial Park and Cemetery. Unfortunately, most of the family was unable to make it because of Covid restrictions and their different locations around the country. I am so happy I was able to capture these images to share with them.
Thank you Craig DeGraff for your service to our Country!
