First, we have a pandemic, then we have an earthquake, then we have riots, then we have epic wind storms, not to mention murder hornets! Now we are in a major drought with days and days of 100-degree temperatures. In the back of my mind, I thought, "Well I might as well say goodbye to wildflower season and my little piece of paradise!" I couldn't have been more wrong! When I drove up over the little hill and saw a blanket of yellow flowers I thought I might die. They are much earlier this year and might not last long, but I will take what I can get!!!
My first taker was my own cute daughter and her family, Lindsay, Michael, Christopher, and Andrew. I have been photographing my little piece of heaven for 5 years now and finally, their schedule will fit mine. It was fun sharing it with them. Although my grandsons have been with me many times to the meadow because they always help me scope it out every year. We love to play in the little stream and hike up the trails.
The sun was perfect this evening and the wildflowers were at their peak. I actually should have started a few days earlier, but who knew.
Let me share with you my lovely grandbabies and their mommy and daddy who I adore in a place that is magical to me!
I would LOVE to work with you and your growing family! Please contact me to book your family session today! To view more of my work, follow me on Instagram or check out my family page.
