I love scouting for new locations. What makes it even more fun is bringing along some of my favorite photo subjects (My two awesome grandsons Christopher and Andrew). The promise of M&M's makes them last a bit longer and smile a bit bigger!
This week I have three shoots and three places where I have never been. This is always stressful to me. So I decided to do a little pre-shoot. I haven't been to the Huntsville/Snowbasin area in quite some time. All I can say is wow! What a breathe of fresh air! And with the temperatures in Salt Lake over 100 degrees I mean that quite literally! It was a beautiful evening with my cute little family. My cute daughter Lindsay came along and we always make everything a fun adventure.
We started at a cute BBQ restaurant called i.d.k. Barbecue, so yummy and such a great atmosphere. The boys played corn hole in the cool mountain air while we waited for our yummy food. If you are ever in Huntsville, Utah look them up. https://idkbarbecue.com/
After dinner, we headed up to Snowbasin and searched for the perfect spot for photos. The sun was setting quickly and I started to panic a bit. But after a quick prayer and some patience, I found it. The boys had a great time playing for the camera and I got just what I needed!
And as a bonus on our way down the canyon, we got to see a Moose!
I would LOVE to work with you and your child! Please contact me to book your Utah children's session today! To view more of my work, follow me on Instagram or check out my Children's page.
