Kate is a Senior at Olympus High in Salt Lake City. It has not been an easy spring! But Kate has taken it in stride. If there is one good thing about Covid and Seniors, you are able to photograph them in their caps and gowns. Normally, they get them the day before graduation and have to give them right back.
I met Kate and her dad at one of my favorite spots in Salt Lake, Memory Grove. The spring flowers were blooming and it was a beautiful evening. It was fun to have her dad along. Usually it is the moms that bring the change of clothes and extra shoes. Kate and her dad have a great relationship.
Memory Grove was filled with it's usual combination of runners, fellow photographers, and every breed of dog. I love this place!
