I LOVE life!  I am a happy person and an eternal optimist.  I try to find beauty in everything around me, even when it seems impossible.  I laugh at my own jokes even when no one else finds them funny. I am adventurous and love trying new things, except roller coasters, I hate roller coasters!

My family is my everything!  I am never happier than when I am with my family!  They are my rock and my number one photographic subjects. My husband and I love watching Hallmark Movies and AMA Motocross.

When I am not behind my camera you can find me with my three grandsons who continually light up my life, or kayaking in a mountain lake. I love listening to Andrea Bocelli and traveling to new places.

​

I really do love being around people.  I love hearing their stories and learning more about them.  There are amazing people in the world and I have been lucky enough to run across many of them in my adventures.  Many have changed my life!

​

I pride myself on making everyone feel comfortable and making it fun.  That is not always easy; there's the dad that really does not want to be there (but mom says he has no choice), the 14-year-old, that definitely has something better to do, and of course the toddler that finds the one mud puddle for miles. I make sure and reach out to each person and make them feel special.  If it's not fun, no one wants to be there.  And, if no one wants to be there, no one wants to smile!

As Alfred Stieglitz said, “It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter.”

 

My photographic style is vibrant, clean, and bright. My sessions are a combination of look-at-the-camera-and-smile  photos and capture-the-moment photos (those are my favorite!)
